Sarah Catcher

DirectorWorks Graduate 2021

Sarah Catcher (she/hers) is an emerging director based in the Twin Cities. After graduating with a BA in theatre from the College of Saint Benedict, Sarah began directing in community and professional settings. Sarah serves as the Vice President and Resident Director for local non-profit, The Wildwood Theatre Company, which aims to break down the stigma of mental illness through storytelling. Sarah’s directing philosophy is built on a foundation of empathy and compassion for all human persons. When not directing, Sarah is a mental health practitioner. Sarah uses this unique skill set to create a safe space for artists and audience alike to explore the realities of humanity and its intersections with mental health. In the future, Sarah hopes to combine her experience in mental health care and theatre to pursue a career as a Drama Therapist.
